For over a decade both businesses have operated in partnership to supply cryogenic and specialist gases to customer's in science, leisure and general industry.

"CryoService's commitment to customer service, innovation and technology operations complement Air Products' business," commented Ivo Bols, Air Products' Vice President and General Manager, Merchant Gases – Europe. "This acquisition demonstrates Air Products sustained commitment to our integrated industrial gas model as a means of creating higher growth and profitability. Complimenting our existing Tonnage, Liquid Bulk and Packaged Gases businesses, the addition of CryoService's microbulk provides us with an even stronger ability to serve our customers' needs by offering them a choice of all modes of supply."

CryoService's existing base in Worcester has become the Air Products' UK and Ireland Centre of Excellence in CryoEase® products and services, as the company plans to extend into new geographies.

CryoEase® services supplies customers that have a small volume requirement with liquid gases via onsite filling. This offers operational and cost advantages to our customers compared to traditional modes of supply.

Notes to Editors:

About Air Products
Air Products (NYSE:APD) provides atmospheric, process and specialty gases; performance materials; equipment; and technology.

A propos d’Air Products

* A propos du service CryoEase®

Specific adjustments are being communicated directly to customers.

The price increase is the result of several factors. The global helium market continues to experience severe shortages in the supply needed to meet the world’s growing demand. The industry-wide shortage has made it increasingly difficult to maintain Air Products’ global system for meeting customer requirements, and unfortunately this situation is expected to continue well into the future. Air Products has incurred increased costs to operate in this manner, as its worldwide helium team is managing this difficult situation on a daily basis in order to maintain uninterruptible supply to customers.

NOTE: This release may contain forward-looking statements within the safe harbor provisions of the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995. The helium market has been tight across the globe with product allocations implemented by the U.S. Bureau of Land Management and with many other global helium sources producing below capacity. Additionally, new helium sources located primarily outside of the U.S. are extremely expensive, wholesale prices for crude and processed liquid helium have increased, and costs have escalated for power and diesel.

Air Products’ worldwide helium team is managing this difficult situation on a daily basis so that it can continue to bring uninterruptible supply to customers. It is expected that demand will exceed supply for the next two to three years, thus creating ongoing shortages in the market.

NOTE: This release may contain forward-looking statements within the safe harbor provisions of the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995.

liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen, liquid argon, liquid and bulk hydrogen by 4% to 8%; and

Operating within the M25, the new service will deliver lightweight helium cylinders directly to the customer’s doorstep, as and when they are needed.

Gill Beech, Air Products’ business development manager Balloon Helium Europe, said:

“Balloon helium sales in the London area have been increasing steadily and we expect demand to increase further in the run up to 2012, due to the high number of sports events and celebrations that are being organised.

“However, orders for balloon helium are often placed at short notice and meeting delivery deadlines can be challenging. The new delivery service means we will be able to respond to customer orders of all sizes as quickly as possible.”

Balloonium® cylinders come in three different sizes to suit the users’ requirements, which means they are easy-to-handle by professional and amateur event-organisers alike. In addition, each cylinder is fitted with patented safety features and the integrated regulator and quick-fit inflator connection mean that users don’t need to purchase expensive inflation equipment.

Before introducing the lighter Balloonium® cylinders in the UK five years ago, Air Products conducted consumer research and found that 92% of us think that balloons are an essential ingredient at parties.

For more information about Air Products’ Balloonium® cylinder delivery service, please phone 0800 920 920.

Note to the Editor:
Air Products (NYSE:APD) serves customers in industrial, energy, technology and healthcare markets worldwide with a unique portfolio of atmospheric gases, process and specialty gases, performance materials, and equipment and services.

Weitere Informationen finden Sie hier:

Podobnie jak przed rokiem, w przypadku dodatniej temperatury powietrza, która mogłaby uniemożliwić organizację konkursu skoków, pracownicy Air Products będą przygotowani by zamrozić rozbieg Wielkiej Krokwi ciekłym azotem.

Zamrażacz do torów – urządzenie służące do zamrażania rozbiegu skoczni ciekłym azotem o temperaturze -196 stopni Celsjusza, został wykonany przez pracowników firmy Air Products przed rokiem, kiedy to dodatnie temperatury zagrażały organizacji Pucharu Świata w Zakopanem.

i największym dostawcą gazów technicznych w Polsce. The plant, designed to produce 200 million standard cubic feet per year at start-up, with expectations for future capacity expansion, would process crude helium produced by a natural gas processing facility that would be owned by Cimarex Energy Co. (NYSE: XEC) and their partner, Riley Ridge LLC.

The Cimarex facility would process natural gas from the Riley Ridge Field in Wyoming, the second largest helium-rich natural gas field in the United States. Riley Ridge is believed to contain sufficient helium reserves to support production for decades. Production at the new Wyoming plant is anticipated to commence in 2009.

Air Products, the global leader in helium production, has pioneered many of the helium extraction, production, distribution and storage technologies used in the industry today. Air Products maintains the world’s largest helium production and distribution system and operates numerous facilities around the world.

“We are enthusiastic about developing the helium reserves at Riley Ridge. Bringing on this new source, with very long-lived helium reserves, will enable us to further diversify our helium supply and enhance our ability to reliably serve our worldwide customers,” said John Van Sloun, general manager, Helium and Rare Gases for Air Products. “We continue to see tightness in the supply of helium in the global market. The initial helium volumes expected from Riley Ridge in 2009 are relatively small, but this important new facility can produce additional product to help meet growing global demand.”

Matheson Tri-Gas Global Helium was formed in September 2006 when its parent company, TNSC, acquired the helium assets that were divested in connection with Linde AG’s acquisition of The BOC Group, plc. TNSC is the leading helium supplier in Japan, and is one of only six industrial gas companies in the world with direct access to helium sources.

“Taiyo Nippon Sanso purchased a ‘sold out’ helium business from Linde with limited ability to grow. Helium from the Riley Ridge Project will improve our ability to supply existing customers and provide the opportunity to grow the business beginning in 2009. Moreover, Matheson Tri-Gas’ participation in the Riley Ridge Project gives us additional credibility as a competitor in the global helium business,” said Phil Kornbluth, executive vice president, Global Helium for Matheson Tri-Gas.

Upon completion, the Wyoming helium production plant will be the 10th liquid helium plant operating in the United States, and the first new U.S. facility since 2000. It is expected to employ approximately 8-10 people after start-up.

Helium is used in many unique and valued applications including: magnetic resonance imaging (MRI); lifting for high altitude scientific research balloons, blimps and party balloons; fiber optics and semiconductor manufacturing; metallurgy; breathing atmospheres for deep diving or unique blood gas medical mixtures; analytical chemistry; pressurizing and purging pipes, vessels, and other critical equipment; leak detection; and other advanced applications.

The installation of Microbulk Solutions at a customer manufacturing facility located in Georgia marked the achievement of the global product offering first introduced in the United States in 2005, and offered in Europe prior to 1990. Microbulk Solutions is a novel gas supply and services option that provides the most technically-advanced and cost-effective alternative to traditional cylinder gas packaging in the marketplace.

“Microbulk delivery service and on-site storage and blending systems are very popular and have reached the 10,000th installation because the offering brings the advantages of bulk supply to operations with less than traditional bulk delivery volumes. At the 10,000th installation, Microbulk was the answer for our customer’s argon needs for vacuum furnaces. Whether it is argon or nitrogen for heat-treating furnace atmospheres, nitrogen or oxygen for laser-assist gases, or argon and argon blends for weld shielding, Microbulk supply can mean efficient, economical and reliable supply for small-volume users,” said John Tapley, Microbulk business development manager at Air Products.

Air Products’ Microbulk Solutions has had an impact for several markets including metals processing, biotechnology, foods, electronics and healthcare industries, and for applications with relatively small volume gas requirements. The service appeals to small-volume customers by virtually eliminating cylinder handling and reducing the number of product deliveries.

Microbulk tank trucks provide fast fills into storage tanks that are designed to offer customers a range of flexible supply options. They feature automatic fill shut-off devices; computer telemetry that remotely monitors tank levels, or programmable digital liquid level gauges to help customers monitor their inventory; and tanks with enhanced thermal qualities to limit product loss during periods of little or no use. Microbulk Solutions provide a much simplified supply chain option over the former gas supply practice of many industries’ processing operations that historically relied on high-pressure cylinders and dewars―a labor-intensive approach often resulting in wasted residual gas and the potential for interrupted supply, cross-contamination and safety issues.

Air Products (NYSE:APD) serves customers in industrial, energy, technology and healthcare markets worldwide with a unique portfolio of atmospheric gases, process and specialty gases, performance materials, and equipment and services. Founded in 1940, Air Products has built leading positions in key growth markets such as semiconductor materials, refinery hydrogen, home healthcare services, natural gas liquefaction, and advanced coatings and adhesives. The company is recognized for its innovative culture, operational excellence and commitment to safety and the environment and is listed in the Dow Jones Sustainability and FTSE4Good Indices. The company has annual revenues of $9 billion, operations in over 40 countries, and over 20,000 employees around the globe.

Svou činnost v České a Slovenské republice zahájila společnost Air Products v roce 1991.

Nokia FIS WorldCup v Turíně a Curichu, Optimus Urban Ski Open v Portugalsku… Za dobu své působnosti společnost vyrobila více než 34 000 tun sněhu.

Referenční listina běžeckých tratí s uměle vytvořeným sněhem PolarSnow:

(NYSE:APD) is instituting the following initiatives:

Effective July 15, 2005, Air Products will increase pricing on liquid/bulk oxygen, nitrogen, argon, hydrogen and helium 5 to 25% as contracts allow. These price increases are primarily related to production, feedstock and distribution cost increases.

Also effective July 15, 2005, Air Products will increase the amount of its hazardous materials (hazmat) charge to $20 per delivery. This hazmat increase reflects the additional costs and investments related to enhanced security and compliance activities.

Air Products instituted an argon recovery charge of $3.00 per 1000 scf, effective June 15, 2005, to cover the significant additional cost increases it has experienced to produce argon as a result of softening steel production and in an effort to meet continued strong demand.

Air Products expects to continue its ongoing regional surcharge and cost recovery efforts related to the extraordinary increases in both diesel fuel and feedstock costs it experiences in specific geographies.

Air Products (NYSE:APD) serves customers in technology, energy, healthcare and industrial markets worldwide with a unique portfolio of products, services and solutions, providing atmospheric gases, process and specialty gases, performance materials and chemical intermediates. This surcharge is required to offset extraordinary increases in power, natural gas, coal, diesel fuel and distribution costs associated with merchant oxygen, nitrogen and argon production and distribution.

In addition, hydrogen and helium product pricing will increase by ten percent for merchant customers in North America, and discounts on monthly charges for hydrogen and helium tube trailers will be eliminated. The helium and hydrogen product price increase is necessary to recover continued escalation of feedstock and distribution costs while allowing Air Products to maintain its high standard of safe and reliable customer service and supply.

Air Products is also advising its hydrogen customers that in response to natural gas volatility, supply contracts will be restructured to enhance their ability to more effectively recover increases in natural gas cost.

NOTE: This release may contain forward-looking statements. That was evident from the looks of the kids' faces as we handed them the balloons. From toddlers to teenagers, and even the nursing staff, the balloons were greeted with an instant smile," says Gill Beech, business development manager, at Air Products. "As a leading supplier of helium for balloons, we, at Air Products, wanted to celebrate National Balloon Week in style and could think of no better way than to bring the fun and excitement of balloons to the children at the hospital."

The Air Products team inflated 400 foil balloons, donated by Amscan International, with helium, before touring the hospital to hand out the balloons to ensure that every child at the hospital received a balloon.

"We're very grateful for all the donations, voluntary help and assistance we receive from individuals, companies and communities," says Malcolm Faulkner, community fundraising officer at Birmingham Children's Hospital. "The balloons were an especially welcome gift and a happy surprise for the children."

National Balloon Week had another significance for Air Products since it was also the anniversary of the launch of their Party Perfect™ system. Building on their reputation in the balloon gas industry for innovation with their lightweight Heligas® cylinders, Air Products developed Party Perfect™; the first consumer-friendly, refillable helium balloon pack system consisting of a helium refill unit plus small refillable barrels (cylinders). Consumers can hire the Party PerfectTM barrels, which can fill 40 standard 11" party balloons, from selected outlets for special occasions and parties. Air Products has already signed up 80 Party Perfect™ outlets nationwide.

For details of your nearest Party Perfect™ stockist, please call free on 0800 920 920 or visit the website: www.partyperfectonline.com

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
